Pátzcuaro, Michoacán • 4 days of connection, adventure & culture: February 9-12th. You will need to be in San Miguel the night of the 8th and stay the night of the 12th. I encourage you to come and spend a few days in SMA on the front, back or both ends!
Small group (9 people max- plus guide and Lisa)
$13,000 MXN pesos per person (this is currently $703.23 US dollars but it fluctuates daily)

4-Day Sample Itinerary
Designed for a slow-travel taste of Michoacán’s lakes, crafts, cuisine, and the monarchs.
Day 1 February 9th — Butterflies

Horseback ride + short hike with local guides to monarch colonies
Quiet forest time under the oyamel firs
Drive to Patzcuaro- 3 hours. We can look around the town or go to the Hotel depending on how we feel and we will decide on where to have dinner based on the group
Day 2 — Pátzcuaro
Morning class: gentle mobility & breath work
Breakfast is 7:30-12:30. We can arrange for coffee before 7:30 if the group wants.

Day 3 — Drive to Zirahuén
Coffee available in the kitchen

Breakfast:
Drive to Zirahuen. Mask demonstration is optional. Choose ONE included adventure (zip line & suspension bridges, paddle, kayak, boat ride, horseback riding, or ATVs)

Lakeside lunch (own expense), plus free time for spa, artisan shopping, or café hopping
If you prefer not to “adventure”, you can stay at the hotel, or Alfredo can arrange, for cooking classes, jewelry workshops, or other day trips
Dinner 5-6ish pm
Day 4 — Morelia
Morning stretch + breath reset
Day trip to Morelia: 1 hour drive

Candy Museum, Aqueduct, Cathedral, Convent of San Francisco which includes the Institute of the Artisan, Artisan Market, Historical Center
Departure: 3 hours drive to get back to SMA, home late!
